Need an Investigation?

Need an Investigtion?

Investigations are done for many different reasons. The most common is to obtain unanswered questions about occurrences that are unexplained. A need for confirmation is also high on the list. The need to know you are not losing your mind is essential in dealing with paranormal occurrences. Many of us in the paranormal field understands that there are many things that are not explained by natural causes. Many of us have for living in peace. So we do all we can to give that peace to all our clients. So the following are some reasons one would request an investigation.

There are paranormal enthusiasts that watch the famous shows and are intrigued.  Either by the attention, or equipment used, or curiosity of seeing the investigation in action, sometimes people will make false claims or fake activity. They do this just to get a team in to investigate because of the thrill. This is not proper. If you are someone that is like this, please, instead, contact a local paranormal team and ask if you can be invited along for an investigation. Or, you can always find paranormal investigation tours in your area. Check them out and take part. But, please, do not make false claims and fake activity just to see a team at work. This usually doesn't turn out good.

Legitimate Reasons for Requesting Investigations:

  • There are things happening in my home, my children are scared and being tormented. Please Help!

  • Things are going on in my home that I cannot explain. Why?

  • I know I'm experiencing things. But I am not sure if they are all in my head, or if it's real.

  • I have projects going on at my property, and strange things going on have the workers scared and I cannot keep workers.

  • I know I have paranormal things happening. I need help from the clergy field but I need the proof documented to convince the clergy.

Malicious Reasons to Request Investigations:

  • I saw Ghost Nation and I am enthused about the investigations.

  • I think it would be funny to put a team to the test in my place that I know has no activity.

  • Hey, let's fake activity and bring in a paranormal team for the fame and publicity.

  • I am a complete skeptic and I want to prove the paranormal wrong.

For this reason we may at times enlist some additional help. Regardless where our investigations take us, there are some key things that we will always maintain.

EVIDENCE - Each client will get a full report on the investigation to include all evidence found. Each piece of evidence will be presented and explained to the best of our knowledge. At the end of the investigation we will give recommendations to the client on how to handle the activity.

Our Methodology  and Techniques

Methodology and Techniques

You'll see a lot of groups, teams, shows and investigators using state of the art equipment, mediums, sensitives, and in some cases clergy for their investigations. S.P.I.A. has all these elements within its ranks of the team. We have believers, skeptics, scientific and paranormal enthusiasts, sensitives, mediums, a reiki practitioner, and a wiccan/white witch. Now many may scratch their heads... A Reiki Practitioner? Yes, a Reiki Practitioner.

How does Reiki help us on investigations? The first method used by Reiki when it comes to paranormal investigations is protection. With the power of Reiki, our practitioner offers protection for herself and fellow investigators (especially if there is one who is an easy attraction for spirits). In addition, prior to an investigation, she will discover what kind of energy is in the place, by doing a walk through. By doing this, she has given herself (and  team members) a heads-up on what to expect. Then, once we regroup for the investigation, she can make sure everyone has protection of some kind. For those who need extra protection, she can place a bubble around them using reiki. With this, they're cleared from any bad energy that they may have been given by a malevolent (or just cranky) ghost/spirit within the haunted property. From these reiki exercises, she is fully aware when her energy is going to be beneficial or a danger to her or fellow investigators. So in all we use Reiki, Sensitives and Mediums for identifying, reading energies as well as reiki being used for protection and healings. We use equipment for baseline and data readings and documentation of evidence.

We do approach each investigation with a debunk mentality. Why is the activity happening? What's causing it? Could be explained or recreated? Many times activity can be naturally explained. We don't believe everything is paranormal. So we will dive into natural causes. If we find no scientific reason for the activity we then start moving into the paranormal causes. Our team has believers, skeptics, and skeptical believers. So we have a diversity of views to kick around.

The steps of our investigation are this:

RESEARCH:

First and foremost, we take every investigation seriously. We will conduct research on the location to determine the history.

INTERVIEW:

We will interview the client. This interview is mostly to get their claims and have some familiarity of the case.

WALK THROUGH:

We will then Walk the property for readings and baselines. Once these readings are established, we then know what equipment we will use, how we want to use it and where we want to set it up. We also now know how we want to conduct our investigation.

THE INVESTIGATION:

We will go lights out during the investigation and based on interviews and our walk through, we will conduct the investigation. Now information received during the investigation will determine if we close the case or further investigations on the location is necessary.

ANALYSIS:

Over a period of time after the investigation, we will analyze the data collected from the investigation. Reports, Audio, Photos, Video etc. We will pin point any evidence during this time and isolate it.

FINDINGS:

Team members will meet and discuss the findings of the case. We will adopt options for the client on how to deal with and handle their situation.

CLIENT MEETING:

Once we have the findings and possible solutions, we will meet with the client. During this meeting we will reveal our findings with them. We will offer them moral support and guidance. We will also present a solution to the client.

CASE NOT CLOSED:

We will remain available to our client all the way to the end. Meaning until they have resumed normalcy in their situation and resolving the issue they have, our team is committed to the client and assisting in anyway we can to the end of the resolve. The client will have 24hr 7 days a week contact with our team the whole time.

CASE CLOSURE:

Once we have the case closed, we will offer the client all data collected during the investigation in 2 parts. Part one is the data in its entirety. Full video, audio, all photos etc. Part 2 of the data are the evidence that's been isolated. Just the evidence that's been pulled out and clipped. This data will be given to the client either by SD card, or thumb drive.
